I'm the Biggest Blog Slacker!!

So I am really not good at keeping our blog updated. I will get on here and see my friends keeping up with the times so here is my attempt at catching up.....
A few things have happened lately, the most exciting of them is the news that we are having a GIRL!! Hooray!! We are so excited (sorry to the family who we forgot to tell that we were expecting!) I have to say that Wyatt was the cutest when it came to the news. He wanted a sister so badly (that will probably change as they get older!) and when we told him that it was a girl he did this little jig and was singing he gets a sister, so cute! Then he said that he thinks Jesus wanted us to have a girl and just about made me cry, he's so sweet.
Another exciting thing that happened was that Jeremy passed all his requirements for the job he's been waiting on so now we are just waiting for the phone call t0 come telling us where we get to move! Exciting and nerve racking!! It'll still going to be awhile, we've been told that the wait time is close to four months and with my luck he will probably go to the academy right when the baby is due. I'm crossing my fingers that that won't happen!
Other little things that have happened... ~Wyatt started preschool and he is loving it, so is mom!!
And we are finally down to only owning three cars, that's what happens when you marry a car guy!Just kidding honey! I think on average we've always had about five!
Whew, I think that about does it for now. Until next time!

A Sad, Sad Day

Monday was a horrible day. Our Little dog Jaxson died after suddenly getting sick over the weekend. We really don't know what happened, the only thing we can figure is that he must have had some serious health problems that we never really knew about. He was such a good dog, perhaps the world's smelliest dog, but a good dog none the less. He was so great with the boys and kept me company while Jeremy was away. We'll miss him so much!

man food

65 fastback one day I will finish it

ok well I get on here with Heather every once in awhile and browse. I am guessing that others do the same so I thought a little man food was in order. Here are a few pics from the moab car show to break up all the cutsey pics. (not saying they are bad)

Heather looks good next to this lead sleded 50' merc. This was her favorite at the show and one day she wants to own one. I guess I will just have to build one for her!

here is my dad next to a cool wagon still in the crate. The wood on this is actually painted on.

One day my mustang will look this good? This car gave me some good ideas.

Canyonlands

This last weekend we went down to Moab for the Moab Car Show (Jeremy was going through withdrawls!) We decided to go over to Canyonlands and hike around. The boys did better than I expected and we all had a good ol' time!

Here's Wes on top of the world! It really looks like a backdrop!

We couldn't get Wyatt to just smile for any pictures so here is his "pose". He was cracking us up!

The boys really didn't seem to care about the view so they decided the dirt was more fun!

Here is Wes squished like a bug. He really did not like being in there!

Go Wes Go!

Hooray!! Wes took his first steps this weekend!! He's so silly. He still hasn't gotten the hang of it completely and whenever we get excited that he's doing it he thinks its a game and falls down and laughs. Ah, good times!!

I'm such a blog slacker!!

Ok, so it's been a while since I've updated my blog! Here are some of the things we have been up to since December.

California Vacation

We went down to California for my dad's surprise party for his 70th birthday. Phew Dad you're old!!JK! While we were down we went to the San Diego Zoo which I have to say I was a little disappointed in. After the zoo we ended up getting lost in downtown San Diego and we came across the U.S.S Midway so we stopped and did the tour which was pretty neat. The ship is huge and you are able to go all throughout it. On the deck of the ship they had all different kinds of old war planes and helicopters that Wyatt loved.

The passage ways were so narrow and the doorways are so low, I don't know how many times Jer hit his head!

Jeremy and Wyatt in the Brig.

Wyatt fishing in Dad and Darlene's backyard.

Walking with Dinosaurs

In January Elaine took us, John and Trevor to see Walking with Dinosaurs. It was an awesome show, but the best part was watching Wyatt's facial expressions. For the first 15 minutes he had his head buried in Jer's chest while he used Jer's jacket as curtains around his face. He was so scared. Once we got him to look he was so excited and he would point out all the different dinos an surprisingly he could name a lot of them, better than I could do!

Crazy Wes

These pictures crack me up. Wes has been so curious about the washing machine so I helped him out a little. He thought it was pretty funny until the basin started to sway! He's such funny kid, and he does a good job of keeping us entertained!

Wow. Six Years!!!

For our anniversary we stayed in SLC, just a little get away for the two of us. We went to Temple Square and saw the lights and of course it had to be one of the coldest nights of the year! Happy Anniversary to us!
