My first blog!!

So after much debate and some encouragement from friends I have decided to write a blog. Since I really am not good at this sort thing I have decided to post some of the fun and sometimes crazy things that have happened this summer. Enjoy!!!

For the Fourth of July we got to ride in the parade with my brother Kevin and his family showing off the counties new truck! It was a blast and Wyatt thought it was pretty cool.

This picture of Wes was funny to me because of the story behind it. The kids and I were in the back yard filling up Wyatt's pool when Wyatt decided to grab the hose and shoot me point blank with it, so now I am sopping wet and I go up stairs to change clothes really fast only to come out and see Wyatt holding the hose over Wes' head and now he is sopping wet! The only thing that kept Wyatt out of trouble was the fact that Wes thought it was so funny and was laughing the whole time. Lesson learned, Wyatt cannot be trusted with the hose!

One weekend in July we went caneoing with Jeremy's parents and brother up at Payson Lakes. It was soooo realaxing and Wyatt had so much fun in the canoe he had to go out every time! The other picture is Wes having a good old time with Grandma!

The scariest thing that happened to us ths summer was being evacuated because of the wild fire on the mountain behind our house! It was so stressful and crazy. We never actually left our house but we had the car and our little trailer all packed and ready to go. We watched with our neighbors as the fire jumped across the mountain toward our house and we started packing when Kevin, my brother who is with Utah County Fire, called and said to get out. The fire came close but luckily the wind died down and they were able to control it before it jumped the canyon road. All in all a very stressful, smokey and hot night!

I love this picture! One of Wyatt's favorite things to do is build forts with the couch cushions, he'll spend forever playing in them and he loves to drag the dog in with him, the dog doesn't love it so much but it's still really funny.
